Carla Chaney

Carla joined Equifax as Chief Human Resources Officer in 2019, reporting directly to the CEO. In this role, Carla has global accountability for the Human Resources function, focusing on attracting, retaining, and developing our people while evolving our culture.

A broad, global HR leader, Carla joined us from Graphic Packaging International where she served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources & Communications, with a significant portion of her role focused on building and developing talent to ensure the company’s profitable growth agenda was realized. During her tenure at Graphic Packaging, the company successfully transformed their portfolio through acquisitions and innovation, moving into a global packaging leadership position. Prior to Graphic Packaging, Carla held U.S.-and international-based executive roles at Exide Technologies, Newell Rubbermaid, and Georgia Pacific. 

Carla is a New York state native and earned her bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. She also completed the Chief Human Resources Officer Development program at Cornell. Carla currently sits on the Women’s Leadership Center Advisory Board at the Kennesaw State University College of Business, and is a Board member for the Community Assistance Center in Sandy Springs which focuses on enabling those in need to find their way to self-sufficiency.
